Remuneration Estimated effective hourly earnings: $350–$450/hour 1099 contractor arrangement Potential for unlimited earnings based on workload Non-Responsibilities Licensing (assistance provided for additional states) Credentialing and onboarding Malpractice coverage IT setup (workstations available if needed) Technology & AI System State-of-the-art, user-friendly PACS system AI-generated reports for initial review Radiologist reviews, edits if necessary, and approves Engineered to deliver 1.5x–2x efficiency compared to traditional methods For those interested in remote, flexible work For those seeking additional income or improved work-life equilibrium For late-career or semi-retired radiologists Licensing & Location • Radiologists are not required to be residents of the licensed state • Support provided for acquiring additional licenses Unique Aspects of This Role • Completely outpatient (no urgent hospital-based reads) • 24-hour report delivery model • AI utilized as a supportive tool, not a substitute • Radiologist remains the ultimate clinical decision-maker • Designed for both part-time and full-time physicians Responsibilities: Workflow & Productivity Expectations Case Load Equivalent to full-time: ~300 cases per day (~1,500 per week) Efficiency Standards Traditional workflow: ~30 X-rays per hour AI-enabled platform: ~45–60 X-rays per hour AI pre-reads and pre-dictates reports; radiologist retains final clinical authority. Key Duties • Interpreting X-ray/plain film studies • Reviewing AI-generated reports Qualifications: Active unencumbered physician license in California Graduate of an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible (American Board of Radiology) Five to ten years of Radiologist clinical experience (or as required) Skills / Abilities / Competencies Required Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Commitment to delivering the highest level of patient care and service excellence. Demonstrated ability to exercise independent clinical judgment, strong decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
