This inpatient facility provides comprehensive thoracic imaging services requiring specialized cardiothoracic radiology expertise. The facility maintains modern imaging capabilities with MERGE PACS system and utilizes Cerner EMR for patient documentation and workflow management.

Washington, DC features the National Mall with prominent monuments including the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, alongside Smithsonian museums such as the National Museum of Natural History with its Bone Hall Exhibit. Visitors can explore the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial, particularly during spring when cherry blossoms create scenic viewing opportunities. The cardiothoracic radiologist will interpret thoracic imaging cases throughout the day during 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts with call coverage requirements. Daily responsibilities include reading 40 CT studies focusing on high resolution lung cancer screening and lung CTAs, plus 5 cardiac MR studies per day. The clinician will utilize the Cerner EMR system and ScribeSystem dictation for comprehensive case documentation and reporting.
