About the Clinician's Workday

The diagnostic radiologist will provide trauma-focused diagnostic imaging services at a Level 2 trauma center, specializing in high-volume stroke pathway imaging including CT Head Stroke, CTA Head/Neck, and CT Perfusion studies. The clinician will manage significant musculoskeletal trauma workloads with extensive extremity radiograph volume while providing regular vascular and abdominal ultrasound services including DVT studies, gallbladder assessments, and obstetric coverage. Daily case distribution includes 75% primary imaging with X-ray and CT trauma/stroke/PE protocols, 20% high-support ultrasound focused on DVT and OB/transvaginal studies, and 5% specialized MRI for neuro/MSK/MRCP cases. The position requires maintaining productivity targets of 7-10 RVUs per hour while performing light interventional procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, abscess drainage, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and catheter placements with no call responsibilities required.
