Physician owned and run private practice is in need of an Interventional Radiologist. The group has 26 Rads and are one of the largest, growing healthcare systems in the Chicagoland area. They are the exclusive provider of diagnostic imaging and interventional Radiology services for two hospitals (one is a Level 1 Trauma center and premier teaching institute and several imaging centers). Volume is 13-14k WRVU’s per rad. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and collaborative skills. Call is Q4. Interventional Rad - fellowship trained interventional radiologist needed for a full-time, partnership track position. New hire can expect to perform a wide range of interventional procedures including dialysis access, DVT/PE interventions, trauma interventions, arterial and venous embolizations, interventional oncology (Y90, TACE, and ablation), TIPS, vertebral augmentation, pediatric interventions, and more. The section includes four experienced interventional radiologists and two excellent midlevel providers. They are devoted to longitudinal clinical care including inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic and are looking for applicants with similar dedication to providing excellent patient care and comprehensive service to our referring providers. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to interventional radiology while approximately 20% will be dedicated to general diagnostic radiology, keeping general diagnostic skills. As a part of the interventional radiology team, you will spend all of your time between the two hospital sites. All IRs participate equally in the IR call pool; they do not participate in diagnostic call pool. Partnership track 2-3 years depending on experience. Partners income can expect 500k+ including salary and bonuses.
