Chicagoland - On Site Dedicated Breast Imager needed  

Large, independent physician owned private Radiology group of 120 providing comprehensive medical imaging and interventional services to ambulatory facilities, clinics, and hospitals throughout Illinois and in Michigan.

The group is seeking a dedicated onsite Breast Imager for their hospital under 20 miles south of downtown Chicago. The position collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of breast cancer providers specializing in breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology and other specialty areas providing individualized care.  This is a great opportunity to practice quality medicine with a team of dedicated, collegial and supportive breast imagers.  The position is Monday – Friday with participation in a rotating weekend 1:5 schedule of reading breast imaging studies from home. No general radiology call responsibilities.  The position interprets screening and diagnostic mammograms, performs and interprets breast ultrasound, breast MRI and ABUS, participates in U/S and MRI guided breast procedures.  This position is 100% Breast Imaging but additional diagnostic imaging responsibilities are optional and customizable based on the candidate’s experience and interests.  The position utilizes Hologic imaging equipment and reads on Mammo Plus. Offering a variety of employment or shareholder opportunities along with a lucrative salary and benefit package and a great work environment!
