A hospital is seeking a Women's Imager locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in southern Kentucky.

This full-time mammography position runs MondayFriday from June 20 through December 2025, with shifts from 8 a.m.4:30 p.m. (or 4x10s), no nights or weekends, and overtime only after scheduled hours. Telehealth is not available. The role seeks long-term support, ideally one locum for continuity of care. Candidates must be board-certified (breast imaging fellowship preferred) with MQSA, BLS, ACLS, DEA, and a KY license, and hospital privileges are required. Daily volumes average 60 procedures, including 40 screening/diagnostic mammograms, 5 ultrasounds, 2 breast MRIs, and 3 biopsies, with experience required in all breast-related procedures, wire placements, and biopsies guided by ultrasound or mammography. The facility uses EPIC and is supported by a supervisor, 5 technologists, registration staff, and front desk staff. Equipment includes three Hologic 3D mammography units in the breast center and one in an outpatient site, with four additional 3D screening rooms. Weekly interdisciplinary team support is available.
