Dedicated Breast Imaging - New York’s Finger Lakes Region

Join the Department of Imaging Sciences at this large academic medical center/private University.  Active recruitment for two Breast Imagers to join a team of outstanding breast radiologists, dedicated to the highest quality outcomes and educational innovation.  The department has 125 Radiologists and the Breast Imaging division presently consists of 6 full time and 1 part time Rads.  Weekly volumes are: 660 Screens, 210 Diagnostic, 240 US, 40 MRI, 55 Procedures.   State of the art imaging including novel ultrasound tomography and breast CT.  Structured reporting software and automated breast density with risk assessment are used across the enterprise.   This is a dedicated Breast Imaging position but you can moonlight and read Body if you desire.  Must enjoy working with residents and BI fellows.  Time off is 11 weeks with a 4 clinic days/1 academic day.  Compensation (474k-545k depending on experience)   In addition, clinical and academic incentives that are typically another 10%-15% of base compensation.  Benefit package (approx.. 100k) includes health, dental, vision, 403b retirement, life insurance, 7k annual professional allowance, etc. including tuition benefits.  Located in a mid-sized city with extensive cultural and recreational opportunities.
