Job Description
Highlights:
General Diagnostic Radiology with Fellowship training in Body/Neuro/MSK or Chest. Interventional and Breast Imaging are also welcome.
General Radiologists operate on a general radiology model rather than a subspecialist model.
Monthly Schedule consists of two weeks onsite, 1 week remote, and 1 week off.
Call is 1:5 weekends.
Opportunity to grow an existing program to a regional referral program
Part of a larger Health System/Medical School system with no teaching requirements.
J1 and H1b Visa Candidates are welcome.
BE/BC Required.
Scope of Practice:
Reading ED and inpatient CT, MR, Xray, Nuclear Medicine, PET and Ultrasound exams
Procedures include GI Fluoroscopy, video fluoro swallowing exams, arthrograms and Nuclear Medicine sentinel node biopsy injections.
Community:
Access major metro areas including Raleigh < 1 hour, Durham/Chapel Hill 2 hours and Charlotte 3 hours.
