The facility operates as a rheumatology clinic in central Connecticut seeking locum tenens coverage starting May 26th. The practice provides specialized care for patients requiring rheumatologic services in an outpatient setting. Board certified candidates with an active Connecticut license are strongly preferred for this ongoing assignment.

Connecticut offers diverse recreational opportunities including scenic hiking trails at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden and Kent Falls State Park in Kent, which features waterfalls and woodlands. The state is home to Mystic Seaport Museum, the largest maritime museum in the United States and Connecticut's top tourist attraction, which houses the last surviving wooden vessel of its kind. Visitors can also participate in various tours and activities such as ghost tours in downtown Mystic and self-guided walking tours exploring historic sites.

The rheumatologist will provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care managing 16-17 patients per day in a clinic setting. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with practice call coverage every other week. Board certification in rheumatology is required for this locum tenens assignment. The role focuses on delivering quality rheumatology care to adult patients requiring specialized treatment for rheumatologic conditions.
