The facility operates as an outpatient rheumatology practice providing specialized care for patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions. The clinic maintains an infusion center with comprehensive oversight capabilities and support systems to deliver quality rheumatology services. The practice offers a collaborative environment focused on delivering comprehensive care to adult patients with rheumatologic disorders.

The rheumatologist will provide comprehensive outpatient rheumatology care for adult patients, managing 14-18 patients daily with a target of 2 new patients per day. The position operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, requiring call coverage for both outpatient and inpatient needs during the two-week assignment periods. Responsibilities include conducting thorough rheumatologic evaluations, developing treatment plans, overseeing infusion room operations including signing off on orders, and managing follow-up care for established patients with various rheumatologic conditions.

• Case Load/PPD:  It would be 14 patients at first and work up to 18/day including 2 new patients a day.
• Support Staff:  RN/LPN/CMA assistance for the provider, apart from that they'll have the other locum rotating on the schedule
• Patient Population:  Adults
• Call Ratio/Schedule:  Call would be for the 2 weeks while here, that includes outpatient call and inpatient call.
