Rheumatology Hospital Based job located in Tennessee
Job Description
Seeking a Rheumatologist to join our staff.
• Conduct detailed assessments of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, and diagnostic results.
• Perform joint injections, aspiration procedures, and other rheumatologic interventions.
• Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatic diseases.
• Manage chronic conditions, including disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologics therapy.
• Provide patients with education on disease management, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient care.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in rheumatology.
• Stay current with the latest research, treatments, and advancements in the field.
• Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
