Job Description
Seeking a Sleep Medicine Physician to join our team
--Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a manageable clinic schedule with two initial clinic days per week and a patient volume of approximately 10 visits per day, with room for growth.
--Integrated Telehealth Capabilities: Conduct virtual consultations with patients through Epic, enhancing accessibility and continuity of care.
--Our sleep center provides a full range of sleep studies and treatments, including: Polysomnography (PSG), PAP titration, Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), PAP NAP, iVAPS, ASV, and Inspire studies
--Collaborate with a dedicated team of 8 registered sleep technicians, including techs with CCSH and pediatric certifications, plus 2 medical assistants and 1 sleep tech trainee.
--Work alongside an in-house training program currently pending AASM accreditation, which will support training for new techs locally and potentially from other facilities.
--Lead initiatives such as the PAP Compliance Clinic, Inpatient Sleep Navigator Program, and monthly Healthy Sleep Support Groups.
--Conduct and interpret comprehensive sleep studies across a broad patient demographic, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
--Lead efforts in patient education, with a strong focus on the impact of sleep disorders on overall health.
--Engage in collaborative care and facilitate direct referrals through our open lab model.
--Mentor and guide sleep technicians through our forthcoming AASM-accredited in-house training program.
--Foster a culture of teamwork and learning, with a commitment to expanding pediatric services and addressing the needs of underserved populations.
