Sleep Medicine Physician Locums Job in New Mexico | Seeking One Week/Month of On Site Coverage + Remote Medical Director Temporary Support
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a southern New Mexico facility that is recruiting for a Sleep Medicine physician to help with one week per month of locum tenens coverage & to temporarily fill the role as Sleep Medicine Medical Director while the health system recruits for a permanent provider to fill the role.
Dates of Coverage:
* Seeking 1 week (Monday - Thursday) of onsite clinic work
* Remainder of Medical Director locums position will be remote
Details/Requirements for Assignment #115113:
-- Active & unrestricted New Mexico license
-- Board Certification or true Eligibility required in Sleep Medicine
-- Credentialing period of approximately 45 days
-- Can anticipate an average of 8-20 PPD in the clinic | The clinic performs 100 sleep studies a month.
-- Scope of work will be both clinical + administrative
-- Staff: 1 CNP, 2 MDs, and 1 Sleep Technician always on call
-- Duties will include: Overseeing clinical operations, diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, interpreting sleep studies (PSG/HST), and ensuring adherence to AASM standards
-- Sleep Study Hours: Facility sleep studies run from 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, six nights a week.
-- Facility details: Cerner EMR, clinic is attached to main facility (less than 100 beds)
