Full-time 24 Hour Cardiothoracic Surgery Call Coverage Locums Job in Central Alabama | Seeking 7-14 Days in September | Open to Your Specific Availability

Jackson and Coker is assisting a central-east Alabama Health System with arranging full-time 24-hour Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens coverage during the month of September 2025. The client is seeking 7-14 days of coverage to help cover the ED/call schedule while working alongside a newly trained fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon that recently joined their team. They're also looking to fill the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years, however, covering holidays is not a firm requirement to be considered for September coverage. Are you available?

Dates of coverage needed:
* Orientation to be scheduled the morning of your first shift
* Seeking 7-14 days during the month of September 2025 (open to your specific availability)
*  Seeking holiday coverage over Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years & weekend coverage ongoing 

Details/Requirements for Assignment #110754:
-- Location: One hour from Montgomery, Alabama
-- Active Alabama license required - WE CAN LICENSE IN 2 HOURS IF YOU HAVE IMLC!
-- Board Certification or true Board Eligibility required
-- 24-hour inpatient call coverage only; Will be covering the ED 
-- Current staff: 2 CT Surgeons (1 is on medical leave temporarily + 1 is a new addition to their team)
-- Must be willing to working alongside new surgeon & offer guidance as needed 
-- Inpatient APP support + first assist 
-- Level 3 Trauma Center
-- Approximately 280 CV Surgeries annually 
-- Quick & easy privileging at this facility
