24 Hour Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Central Alabama | Seeking 7+ Days per Month of 24-Hour Call Coverage | March 2026 + Ongoing

Seeking around 7-10 days per month of coverage to help cover the ED/call schedule while working alongside a newly trained fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon that recently joined their team.

Dates of coverage needed:
* Orientation to be scheduled the morning of your first shift
* Tuesday, 3/10 at 6PM – Monday, 3/16 at 7AM
* Friday, 3/20 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, 3/23 at 7AM
* Friday, April 3 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, April 6 at 7AM
* Friday, April 17 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, April 20 at 7AM
* Friday, April 24 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, April 27 at 7AM
* Friday, May 1 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, May 4 at 7AM
* Friday, May 15 at 7AM or 5PM – Monday, May18 at 7AM
* Friday, June 12 at 7AM – Monday, June 22 at 7AM (firm start/end times)
* Friday, July 17 at 7AM – Monday, July 20 at 7AM (firm start/end times)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #113624:
-- Location: One hour from Montgomery, Alabama
-- Active Alabama license required - WE CAN LICENSE IN 2 HOURS IF YOU HAVE IMLC
-- Board Certification or true Board Eligibility required
-- 24-hour inpatient call coverage only; Will be covering the ED 
-- Current staff: 1 CT Surgeon (covering to allow him to have time off)
-- Must be willing to working alongside new surgeon & offer guidance as needed (when working alongside of staffed Surgeon)
-- Inpatient APP support + first assist 
-- Level 3 Trauma Center, Cerner EMR
-- Approximately 280 CV Surgeries annually 
-- Quick & easy privileging at this facility
