24 Hour Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Central Alabama | Seeking 7-10 Days per Month of 24-Hour Call Coverage | April 2026 + Ongoing
Seeking around 7-10 days per month of coverage to help cover the ED/call schedule while working alongside a newly trained fellowship trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon that recently joined their team.
Dates of coverage needed:
* Orientation to be scheduled the morning of your first shift
* Monday, April 6 at 7AM - Monday, April 13 at 7AM
* Monday, April 20 at 7AM - Friday, April 24 at 7AM
* Friday, May 22 at 7AM - Tuesday, June 2 at 7AM
* Monday, June 22 at 7AM - Monday, July 6 at 7AM
* Friday, July 24 at 7AM - Monday, August 3 at 7AM
Details/Requirements for Assignment #114069:
-- Location: One hour from Montgomery, Alabama
-- Active Alabama license required - WE CAN LICENSE IN 2 HOURS IF YOU HAVE IMLC
-- Board Certification or true Board Eligibility required
-- 24-hour inpatient call coverage only; Will be covering the ED
-- Current staff: 1 CT Surgeon (covering to allow him to have time off)
-- Must be willing to working alongside new surgeon & offer guidance as needed (when working alongside of staffed Surgeon)
-- Inpatient APP support + first assist
-- Level 3 Trauma Center, Cerner EMR
-- Approximately 280 CV Surgeries annually
-- Quick & easy privileging at this facility
