Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job | Near Tampa, Florida for 24-Hour Call Coverage | Dates Starting in July through December 2025 | 4-8 Days per Month

Jackson and Coker's valued client near Tampa, Florida needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens call coverage support starting this July. Due to the quickness of the first set of dates, the client is hoping to find someone with as clean of a background possible to assist and to be eligible for the emergency privilege process.

Dates of coverage needed:
* Monday, July 7 at 7AM - Friday, July 11 at 7AM
* Monday, July 14 at 7AM - Friday, July 18 at 7AM
* Monday, August 4 at 7AM - Friday, August 8 at 7AM
* Monday, October 27 at 7AM - Friday, October 31 at 7AM
* Monday, December 22 at 7AM - Friday, December 26 at 7AM (Premium pay on Christmas day!)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #109982:
-- Active Florida + DEA license required
-- Seeking candidates that have an Active Board Certification 
-- Cardiothoracic Surgery call coverage only, no vascular needed
-- Can anticipate seeing an average of 10-15 patients per day (split with mid-levels on the floor)
-- Can anticipate doing 2-3 heart cases per week 
-- Will be covering the ED and doing 100% inpatient work; Will need to do daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
-- Will have mid-level support on the floor, scrub techs in the OR to assist 
-- Main facility is a 475+ bed full service hospital but the hospital is a transfer facility (May receive cases from other smaller facilities within same health system)
-- Epic EMR
