Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job | Near Tampa, Florida for 24-Hour Call Coverage | December 29 - January 12

Jackson and Coker's valued client near Tampa, Florida needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locum tenens call coverage support for coverage for 14 consecutive days over the last week of December & through the first week of January 2026. Due to having to expedite the credentialing timeframe, the client is hoping to find someone with as clean of a background possible & that is willing and able to work quickly and responsively through the credentialing process. Are you available?

Dates of Coverage: Monday, December 29 at 7AM - Monday, January 12 at 7AM

Details/Requirements for Assignment #112389:
-- Active Florida + DEA license required
-- Seeking candidates that have an Active Board Certification 
-- Cardiothoracic Surgery call coverage only, no vascular needed
-- Can anticipate seeing an average of 10-15 patients per day (split with mid-levels on the floor)
-- Can anticipate doing 2-3 heart cases per week 
-- Will be covering the ED and doing 100% inpatient work; Will need to do daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
-- Will have mid-level support on the floor, scrub techs in the OR to assist 
-- Main facility is a 475+ bed full service hospital but the hospital is a transfer facility (May receive cases from other smaller facilities within same health system)
-- Epic EMR (will have to attend a full training if not confident in testing out)
