URGENT – New Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Iowa | Premium Rates

This is a great opportunity with one of our clients in Iowa. We are contracted with a medical facility in search of a highly skilled Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgeon to assist with their coverage needs.

Coverage Needed:
» July 28 @ 8a – August 1 @ 5p
» September 1 @ 8a – September 5 @ 5p
» December 22 @ 8a – December 26 @ 5p

Details/Requirements for Assignment #109704:
» Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ in hand required
» Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery
» BLS certification
» Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
» Night and weekend call required
» Average cases: 3-5 consults per day, 2-5 Inpatients rounds per day
» Support Staff; Full hospital surgical support staff
» Vascular surgeries preferred but not required
» 263 bed facility
» Level III Trauma
» EMR: EPIC

Procedures required: Cardiac (open heart), thoracic (chest surgery), Open Heart Surgeries, TAVR, Thoracotomies, Valve Replacement/Repairs, Chest tube placement when needed
