Job Description
Come join this long-standing 465 bed eastern Kentucky Health System situated in a scenic riverfront community that serves a market area of 770,000 patients across eastern Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. You will find the Cardio-Thoracic Surgery team is collegial, laid-back yet highly professional and works collaboratively with the Health System's supportive administration.
Practice:
2 Surgeons currently with 4 experienced APPs
Cardiac Capital of the World: the referral area includes the highest rate of heart disease in the world
350 heart cases/year
Cardiac and thoracic surgery cases
4 ORs, 1 Hybrid OR, plus 1 new OR coming soon
27 minute OR turnover time
Dedicated OR teams + Cardiac Anesthesia + CRNAs
4 RNFAs
STRONG SUPPORT TEAM:
*Mentorship by Sr Surgeon (20 years+) who does off pump CABG cases (optional; but not req'd)
*BD Director assists in helping establish new surgeons within the community

$900,000 Base Salary for 3 years plus $80 WRVU + 50K Signing Bonus + 40K Quality Bonus
7 weeks Time Off
