Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon Physician Locum Tenens Job in Kentucky | Ongoing | Starts Early 2026

Details/Requirements for Assignment #112802:
--Starts January/February 2026 and ongoing
--Seeking 1-2 weeks per month
--Shifts available: 7am-7am (24 hour call)
--Kentucky license required (or active IMLC Letter of Qualification)
--Privileges available: full privileges
--Geographic restriction: No geographic restrictions
--Board Certified or eligible is required
--Required Certifications:  BLS, ACLS, ATLS
--Required Experience: Prefer Heart and Lung with Vascular to complete practice needs, but Heart and Lungs preferred
--Beds: 380+
--Hospital census stays between 25-40 pts. on a regular basis.  Has gone up to 50 pts. at time.
--Average of 2-4 surgeries per MD on the OR schedule each day of the week
--Advanced practitioner support
--PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds, see consults, while we have 3 other APRNs in the office seeing pts.
--Call is for 24 hours per day so the Monday-Thursday call is 7am to 7am next day, The weekend call starts at 7 AM each Friday and ends at 7 AM each Monday morning
