Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Michigan | 24-Hour Call | Ongoing Coverage Starting 5/1/2026 | Assignment #113685
Coverage Needed: 5/1/2026 - Ongoing
Shift Description:
-- One week of coverage, Monday–Friday
-- 24-hour coverage during the week
-- On-site patient rounding
-- Call coverage during the week
-- One weekend per month of coverage
-- Night call starting Friday evening
-- Weekend beeper call (24 hours)
Requirements:
-- Board Certified
-- Must be licensed in Michigan
-- ACLS, BLS, PALS
-- Procedures: CABG, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy/Resection, Pneumonectomy), Thoracotomy Decortication, and Mediastinal Surgery
Assignment Details:
-- Level I trauma facility
-- EMR: Epic
-- 2 dedicated CV surgery ORs
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
