Coverage Details

Shift Details
-- 24-hour call coverage
-- Weekend Requirements: On Call
-- Average Callback Hour: 4 hours

Requirements
-- Board Certified in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery
-- Nebraska state license – highly preferred (active IMLC accepted)
-- ACLS
-- ATLS
-- BLS
-- DEA
-- Clean malpractice history – highly preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
-- CABG
-- Valve cases
-- Thoracic surgery coverage

Assignment Details
-- 268-bed regional referral center
-- Level 2 trauma center
-- Required coverage for cardiac and thoracic cases
-- Reason for coverage: Current CT surgeon on vacation
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
-- EMR: Epic
