Job Description

(Login for Information) has been retained to identify a highly-skilled Cardiac Surgeon and physician leader to serve as the System Chief of Cariac Surgery. Headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, WellSpan Health is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical innovation. WellSpan is committed to fostering a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic work environment where our team members can thrive and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

This candidate will join a well-established cardiac surgery program currently performing more than 600 open-heart surgeries per year. Additionally, our catchment area of 12 counties, 9 WellSpan hospitals, and over 250 employed practices will allow for significant continued growth.

  • Advances the field of cardiac surgery while mentoring future leaders
  • Will lead, provide strategic direction, and participate in the delivery of high-quality contemporary cardiac surgical care including CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery and advanced cardiopulmonary therapies.
