Cardiothoracic Surgeon Locums Job in Wisconsin | Flexible Scheduling | Advanced Surgical Program

Join a leading healthcare team in Wisconsin as a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon, where you’ll work with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Start Date: late 2025 / early 2026

Qualifications:
-Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
-Active Wisconsin license or IMLC eligibility

Schedule:
-Monday–Friday in clinic for scheduled cases and post-op follow-ups
-On-call coverage required at corresponding hospital
-Minimal call backs/emergent cases, but must be available for emergent hospital thoracic consults
-Seeking candidates with 7–10 consecutive days/month availability
-Up to 2 FTEs needed – multiple candidates welcome

Scope of Work:
-Perform advanced thoracic procedures using: minimally invasive techniques (robotic and VATS) and traditional open thoracic surgery when appropriate
-Majority of cases are scheduled in clinic
-Cardiothoracic Surgery: Cardiac chamber reconstruction, Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), Left ventricular reconstruction, Maze procedure for atrial fibrillation, MitraClip valve repair, Minimally invasive bypass, Off-pump CABG surgery, Open heart surgery, Septal defect repair, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve repair surgery

-Beds: 440
-Trauma Level: Level 2
-CT Surgery team consists of 3 CT Surgeons, 6 inpatient PAs and 1 clinic NP
