Cardiovascular Surgery Locums Job in Pennsylvania  | 24-Hour Call | Specific Dates in November and December | Assignment #111569

Coverage Needed:
-- 11/26 – 11/28 
-- 12/20 – 12/29

Shift Description:
-- 24-Hour call only (Beeper, 7am-7am)
-- Call response time: 30 minutes

Requirements:
-- Board certified or board eligible
-- Must be licensed in Pennsylvania or IMLC
-- Fellowship
-- ACLS certification
-- Procedures:
-- Ventilation management
-- Chest tube and central line insertion

Assignment Details:
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Support staff: 5 RNs and 1 PA/NP
-- Supervise APPs during coverage
-- Average phone consults per 24 hours: 5
-- Average patients seen: 3
-- Beds in department: 10
-- Admissions (average 2 per shift) and rounding
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 15 days
-- Temporary privileges available
