Neuroendovascular Surgery Physician Locums Job in Colorado | Assignment #109101

Open Dates:
--August 4 (7a) - August 8 (7a) 
--August 15 (7a) - August 21 (7a)
--All of October - December is open
--Ongoing coverage will be 10-11 days per month

Details:
--MUST be available to cover the open August dates above.
--Schedule: 24 hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
--Must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. 
--Heavy surgical emphasis
--Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist. 
--Must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
--100% adult
--50% trauma
--100% inpatient
--0-5 hospital based patients per day
--Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
--Surgery volume expected while on call and average number of patients or hours varies at a given time. Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab. 
--EMR: Epic
--~90 day credentialing timeframe
--Will pay for full travel

Requirements:
--Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - REQUIRED
--Active Colorado license or IMLC - REQUIRED
--ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEA - REQUIRED
--Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient. - REQUIRED TO NOTE
--Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIRED, willing to consider providers with 1 malpractice case settled under $300k. 
--Must indicate that you are aware and comfortable with a Heavy surgical emphasis - REQUIRED TO NOTE
--COVID vaccinated - REQUIRED
