General Surgery Locums Job in Colorado | 24-Hour Call | Specific Dates in September + October – Ongoing | Assignment #111305

Coverage Details
-- September 23 (8a) – September 25 (8a)
-- October 6 (8a) – October 8 (8a)
-- October 10 (8a) – October 13 (8a)
-- Additional dates will be available as schedules are finalized

Shift Description
-- 24-hour call: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Requirements
-- Board Certified in General Surgery
-- Active Colorado license or IMLC (LOQ at time of submission)
-- Active ATLS
-- Active DEA (must retain for duration of assignment; site may accept transferred DEA)
-- EMR: EPIC – Required
-- Clean malpractice and background – Required for expedited credentialing

Assignment Details
-- Bread and butter general surgery + trauma
-- Setting: Level III Trauma Facility
-- ED Volume: 25 patients per day
-- Low surgical volume; most consults originate from the ED
-- Frequently a second set of hands is available during the day (two employed surgeons often present)
-- Solo coverage likely during nights and weekends
-- Backup support available during daytime hours
