General Surgery Locums Job in Colorado | 24-Hour Call | March 14 – April 30 | Assignment #113906

Shift Description
-- 24-hour call coverage
-- 7 AM – 7 AM shifts
-- Ongoing need for 4–10 shifts per month
-- Average callback: 4–6 hours
-- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 30 days
-- Emergency temporary privileges available within 48–72 hours

Requirements
-- Board Certified in General Surgery
-- Active Colorado license or active IMLC with LOQ
-- Active ATLS
-- Active DEA required for credentialing
-- DEA transfer acceptable and must remain active for entire assignment
-- Clean background
-- Clean malpractice history – Highly Preferred

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Comfortable providing single-coverage trauma and surgical call
-- Experience at a busy Level III trauma facility

Assignment Details
-- 24-hour call coverage
-- Inpatient and trauma call responsibilities
-- Level III trauma facility
-- Patient population: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
-- EMR: Epic
-- Average volume: 0–6 census/admissions
-- Beds: 13
