A facility is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Northern Iowa.
This 185-bed Level 3 trauma center serves a population of 200,000+ across 16 counties. The surgical team includes 2 physicians (1 eGS acute surgicalist) and 2 APPs, with supervision expected. Responsibilities include inpatient/ED consults, OR, post-op rounding, and limited clinic follow-up. Support includes nursing, reception, imaging, lab, and pharmacy. The facility uses EPIC EMR and supports teaching for IM and FM residents. Average hospital census is 160; credentialing takes 6090 days.
