Specialty: General Surgery
Summary: General Surgeon on call would take any call from the ED or any hospital general surgery consults.
Hospital Location: Paducah, KY
Reason for opening: Scheduling need
Start Date: 1 week a month beginning Q4
Setting: Hospital based
Schedule: 24 hour shifts for hospital/emergency call coverage (7am-7am)
Surgical cases per day: 1-3 surgical cases for surgeon on call and 2-4 consults per day
Number of ORs: 12
Required Procedures:
EMR: Epic
Additional Info: Robotics available if certified

- Central Line Insertion
- Chest Tube Insertion
- Vascular Access Devices
- Cholecystectomy
- Hernioplasty
- Colon/Small Bowel
