A facility is seeking a General Surgeon for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Kentucky.

The practice is seeking a provider ideally willing to cover call, though its not required. The schedule includes weekly clinic, scheduled procedures, and potential call to assist with ER visits, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The EMRs used are Athena and Meditech. Credentialing typically takes 30 days, with temporary privileges available. Support staff includes one RN and one APP.

• Case Load/PPD:  • 25 patients/shift in the clinic • 8 phone consults while on call • 2 admissions while on call
