General Surgery Locums Job in Grand Island, Nebraska | 24 Hour Call

Assignment Details:
--24 hour call
--EMR: EPIC
--Level III Trauma
--Support staff: Inpatient coverage only – hospital staff

Procedures/Duties:
--General Surgeon should be comfortable with all basic general surgical procedures.
--Acute care surgery and trauma surgery
--Will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the general surgery or trauma service as well as any consult received during the assignment. 

Requirements:
--Board Certified in General Surgery or Board Eligible
--Nebraska license required, or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
--Completion of a General Surgery residency
--ATLS
--Clean malpractice preferred
--Local candidates preferred, but not required
