Surgery-General job located in New Hampshire

A 25-bed critical access hospital in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire is adding a General Surgeon to our team of 2 Surgeons. Named a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage numerous times, the providers, nurses, staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to personify the Hospital?s Mission to Deliver the Best Healthcare Experience to Every Patient, Every Day.

About the opportunity:

• We are looking for a Physician who offers the broad scope of practice of a typical rural, community surgeon
• Provide office-based general surgery services to new and established patients of all ages, including initial consultation for common general surgery concerns, performance of minor procedures, education and counseling of patients and families, ordering diagnostic tests, referral to related other specialties within and at tertiary care centers, and communication with PCPs.
• Clinical support is provided by a medical assistant
• Provides operative (open and laparoscopic) and endoscopic procedures
• High-endoscopy volume
• 4-day work week
• 10 days of call per month
• We are affiliated with a larger health system with four medical facilities

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary in $500k range
• 5 weeks vacation per year, five sick days, 6 holidays per year
• 2 weeks per year for CME and up to $4,500 CME funds
• Commencement bonus, Citizenship bonus, and Productivity bonus are eligible
