General Surgery Locums Job in New Mexico | 24-Hour Call | Start ASAP Through December 2026 | Assignment #114050
Coverage Needed: ASAP – 12/31/2026
Shift Description:
-- 24-Hour Call
-- 30-minute response time
-- Cover 2 facilities during the day, 3 facilities at night
Requirements:
-- Board Certified or Eligible
-- Must be licensed in New Mexico
-- BLS
-- Procedures: Laparoscopic Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty) and Minor Orthopedics
Assignment Details:
-- Typical volume of 8–15 consults per shift with 3–5 admissions
-- EMR: Epic
-- 1 APP support on service every day 7a-7p that performs rounds, consults, and first assist in OR
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
