General Surgery (to include scopes) 24-hour Call Coverage Locums Job in New Mexico | Seeking 7 Days of Call/Month Starting June & Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a south-central New Mexico facility that needs one week per month of 24-hour call coverage starting in early June and ongoing. The client is seeking candidates that can cover 7-consecutive days each month & who're comfortable/experienced with light trauma and upper/lower scopes.

Dates of coverage needed:
* 7 consecutive days each month of 24-hour call coverage 
* Anticipated 45 days for credentialing (start date of early June if submitted ASAP)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #114730:
-- Active & unrestricted New Mexico license, DEA + CSR is required (willing to license if necessary, active NM license is preferred)
-- Board Certification or true Eligibility required
-- Scope of practice: all bread & butter general surgery, up to level 3 trauma, upper + lower scopes (endoscopies) 
-- Will need BLS, PALS, ACLS & ATLS certifications 
-- Will be required to complete daily patient rounding, complete ED consults & perform emergency ED procedures 
-- Average patient volume: 7 PPD 
-- Will have inpatient APP support & the standard collaborative support staff to also include working alongside residents 
-- Facility details: Epic EMR, designated level 3 trauma center
