Job Description

Job Overview
  • Dates Needed: July 17th (7am)-July 20th (7am)
  • Specialty: General Surgery  
  • Hospital Location: South Carolina
  • Setting: Inpatient 24 hour call coverage
  • Patient Volume: Varies because only operating on emergency cases that come in through ER (no scheduled cases), but low numbers
  • Call Volume: 10-15 calls/day approx.  
  • Cases: Locums must be comfortable with ALL aspects of General Surgery; Upper/Lower Endoscopies, Basic Laparoscopic Surgeries, some Trauma (or at least be able to stabilize/transfer to their main campus)
  • Must be comfortable working solo and being the only General Surgeon on site
  • Requirements: Must have active SC license, SC CSR, DEA registered in SC, Board Certified or Truly BE
  • EMR: EPIC
