- Hospital-employed position with full benefits, including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- 7-on/7-off schedule; 12-hour shifts with 1 acute care surgeon and 1 APP per shift
- Rotate days and nights; take night call and night shifts from home; APPs take first call at night
- No in-house call if in the OR
- Hand off at the end of each shift
- No outpatient, no clinic, and no follow-up
- 50% general surgery and 50% critical care volume
