General Surgery Locums Job in Utah | 24-Hour Call | June 15, 2025 - Ongoing | Assignment #115549
Shift Details
-- On-call coverage Monday 7:00 AM until the following Monday 7:00 AM
-- Approximately one week per month
-- Call ratio 1 in 4
Requirements
-- MD or DO
-- Board certified in General Surgery
-- Active license or willing to obtain licensure
-- ATLS, BLS
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Standard general surgery procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repair
-- Robotic surgery experience
-- Acute care surgery including bowel obstruction, perforated ulcer, and volvulus
-- Trauma procedures including splenectomy, bowel resection or repair, chest tubes, and line placement
Assignment Details
-- Level III Trauma Center
-- Approximately 3 to 7 admissions per night
-- ACS operating room available daily around noon
-- Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient population
-- EMR system: ICentra
