General Surgery Locums Job in Virginia | Full-Time or Part-Time Coverage | July Start | Assignment #108977

Coverage Needs: 
-- Coverage: Full-time or part-time coverage starting July 2025 and ongoing
-- Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7:00a-7:00a
-- Response time: 30 minutes
-- Rounding: Will require some rounding

Assignment Details/Requirements:
-- Privileging Timeline: 60 days
-- Inpatient/Rounding OR Outpatient
-- Required Procedures:
Bread and Butter General Surgery procedures
Upper and Lower Scopes - *preferred
-- Support Staff/Team Structure: 3-4 RNs
-- Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Fellowship, Virginia license

Facility Information:
-- Number of Beds: ~200 staffed beds, ~24 beds in department
-- ER Visits: ~26,000 visits per year
-- Hospital is Stroke Certified
-- EMR: Athena & Meditech
