Neurosurgeon Locums Job in Alabama | One Weekend per Month Starting June and Ongoing

Jackson and Coker's valued client located in central Alabama is seeking a Board Certified Neurosurgeon to assist with one weekend per month of 24-hour call coverage beginning in June 2025 and ongoing.

Coverage need: 
- Seeking 1 weekend (Friday at 7AM - Monday at 7AM) per month starting in June & ongoing 
- Ideal candidate would have scheduling flexibility & the ability to work around facility's needs
- Specific dates are TBD

Details for Assignment #108957:
-- Active & unrestricted Alabama medical license required and/or LOQ with the IMLC 
-- Active Board Certification required, Fellowship training required 
-- Seeking 100% inpatient/ED 24-hour call coverage
-- Duties to anticipate: serving as primary backup support to interventionalists, completing daily patient rounding, doing emergent cases that come through ED
-- Facility has a heavy stroke program & does a lot of thrombolytics
-- Can anticipate seeing being 12-15 PPD
-- No APP support designated to locums specifically
-- Facility detail: 300+ bed facility, designated level 2 trauma center, Cerner EMR
