Neurosurgery Locums Job in Idaho | Full Time Coverage Ongoing ASAP | Assignment # 110213

Coverage Needed: Full-Time Coverage Ongoing ASAP 

Shift Description:  
--Scheduled clinical hours plus call- typical 24 hours shifts starting Monday’s 
--Call response time: 20 minutes 
--Need provider to cover 1-2 weeks month, preferably 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or can be covered between two providers 

Requirements:   
--Board Certified for Neurosurgery 
--Licensed in Idaho or IMLC 
--ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications 
--Required Skills: general neurosurgery (adult & trauma), tumors, vp shunt, spinal surgery with instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), spinal surgery without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), placement of ICP monitors, application of ext. traction) 
--Admissions required 

Assignment Details:  
--Requesting two Providers (accepting multiple providers) 
--EMR: EPIC 
--Both inpatient and outpatient 
--Reason for coverage: scheduling need; physician resigned 
--Temporary privileges available- credentialing 30-60 days 
--Hospital stroke certified 
--200 beds in department 
--Level 2 Trauma Facility 
--Support staff: 1 RN, 2 MA, 2 PA/NP, 2 Office Staff 
--No supervising APP or residents 
--Some clinic follow-up and trauma call coverage
