This Level III trauma facility provides comprehensive neurosurgical services with established protocols for managing complex neurological procedures. The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage for neurological surgery services across inpatient, clinic, and operating room settings. Primary responsibilities include managing day shift and 24-hour shift coverage with a 1:3 call ratio, responding to emergency consultations, and performing neurosurgical procedures. The clinician must maintain prescriptive authority and provide continuous availability for trauma activations and emergency surgical interventions while coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
