A medical center is seeking a Neurosurgeon for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Independence, Missouri.

Board-certified neurosurgeon with active MO license and DEA needed for 24-hour primary on-call coverage at a Level II Trauma Center (CTMC) up to 8 days/month, supporting three surgeons. Coverage dates are Aug 25 (7a)Sept 1 (7a) and Sept 22 (7a)Sept 29 (7a). Case mix is 80% spine and 20% cranial, with a daily patient volume of 20. Facility has 240 filled beds, uses Meditech EMR, and offers emergency and temp privileges. No neuro critical care team on site.
