Neurosurgery Locums Job in Nebraska
One of our partnering facilities is seeking Neurosurgery locums for vacation coverage beginning in March through end of July. There is also an opportunity for ongoing coverage thereafter.
Specific dates needed:--March 19 (7a) - March 20 (7a)
--April 01 (7a) - April 05 (7a)
--April 11 (7a) - April 23 (7a)
--April 26 (7a) - April 29 (7a)
--May 01 (7a) - May 05 (7a)
--May 09 (7a) - May 13 (7a)
--May 15 (7a) - May 26 (7a)
--June 01 (7a) - June 04 (7a)
--June 09 (7a) - June 15 (7a)
--June 23 (7a) - June 25 (7a)
--July 01 (7a) - July 10 (7a)
--July 12 (7a) - July 16 (7a)
--July 26 (7a) - July 30 (7a)
Job Details:
--Start: March 19 and ongoing through July
--Shifts: 24-hour call 7am-7am
--Call details: Hospital, OR, primary or backup call depending on shift
--Duties: Trauma call, new consults, hospital rounds--Required Procedures: Back and spine trauma
--Cases: Trauma, ICH, Spine, Placement of drains
--Number of ICU pts per day: 10
--Number of admissions per day: 7 (NS does not admit)
Facility Details:
--Support staff: Employed surgeons as back up call majority of the time, with locums being primary. Locums will have either another locums or permanent Neurosurgeon on each shift with them. APPs to assist with rounding.
--EMR: EPIC
--Level I Trauma Center
--Level I Trauma Center
--Beds: 300+
Candidate Requirements:
--Nebraska license highly preferred, will accept IMLC
--Nebraska license highly preferred, will accept IMLC
--Board Certified or Eligible Neurosurgery
--Clean background/malpractice highly preferred
--Availability needed to present
--Two Supervisory professional references
--Updated CV
