The physician associate will deliver comprehensive neurosurgical services within a 180-bed facility featuring 11 operating rooms and a 38-bed surgery floor. Daily responsibilities include managing post-surgical patients with primary focus on spine surgery cases and cranial procedures, conducting patient rounds, and serving as first assist during surgical procedures. The clinician must demonstrate proficiency in minor procedures including suture repairs and wound aspirations while coordinating care for patients transitioning through the ICU. Essential duties include responding to consultations from various hospital departments and maintaining thorough documentation in the EPIC EMR system throughout the Monday through Friday schedule.
