This 267-bed Level I trauma center provides comprehensive neurosurgical services with advanced surgical capabilities for complex neurological procedures. The facility maintains specialized equipment and established protocols necessary for emergency interventions and surgical procedures. The institution utilizes EPIC EMR for integrated patient care coordination and supports quality outcomes through modern neurosurgical equipment.

Pennsylvania offers diverse attractions ranging from historical sites to natural landscapes. Visitors can explore the Eastern State Penitentiary, stroll through Longwood Gardens, or experience the unique Kinzua Sky Walk built on historic bridge remains. The area provides outdoor activities including kayaking and canoeing on the Upper Shenango River, along with guided tours of significant battlefield locations.

The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage for neurological surgery services at this Level I trauma facility. Primary responsibilities include responding to emergency consultations and performing neurosurgical procedures during both assigned and unassigned call periods. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and must maintain board certification while providing continuous availability for trauma activations and emergency surgical interventions. Essential duties include managing urgent to emergent cases and coordinating care with facility staff during 24-hour call shifts and some 7a-7p coverage.
