Physician New Haven CT 

Part time (10-30 hrs per week) | $1,000 -$1,500 per day

We are looking for a physician to join our medical group, to provide direct patient care at our office in the New Haven CT area. The physician’s duties will be to conduct orthopedic focused exams and performing joint injections and bone marrow procedures in an out-patient setting for our clinic (training provided if needed). The right candidate will be seeing patients, reviewing patient charts to determine the best possible course of action and treatment for their pain. This position offers exceptional flexibility, allowing for part-time work (10-30hrs/week). You’ll work alongside a strong team of MDs, NPs, PAs, Nurses, CMAs, Phlebotomists, and Administrative Staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for a physician looking to focus on patient care without the burden of on-call or holiday work. We have offices in Rocky Hill and Simsbury, and the physician must be willing to commute to those offices as needed. We will consider a variety of physicians in one of the following preferred specialties: Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, PM&R, or Anesthesiology.

Our patient experience is unparalleled in the medical field, as we provide a concierge level of service throughout the entire clinical experience. We have a team of medical doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, CMA’s, phlebotomists, and administrative staff on hand to help provide high quality patient care. The NP/PA’s examine patients and perform joint and trigger point injections in our physical medicine office. We provide concierge medicine; the patients are seeking high quality care not covered by insurance and we strive to make them comfortable and educated about the procedures so that they are satisfied in undergoing the treatments offered.

Duties:

  • Conduct physical exams and assessments for patients with musculoskeletal issues
  • Review imaging (X-rays, MRIs), patient history, and diagnose and develop treatment plans to treat tendinopathies and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform bone marrow aspiration procedures and ultrasound guided injections (we provide training if needed)
  • Support advanced practice providers, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, as needed, regarding treatment options and care plans

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in one of the following preferred specialties: Emergency Medicine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, PM&R, or Anesthesiology
  • Experience in joint injections and the use of ultrasound required
  • MD or DO License to Practice Medicine in CT
  • A collaborative, patient-focused attitude, and an interest in regenerative medicine
  • Willingness to commute to North Haven (Required)

Schedule:

  • Part time (10-30 hrs per week)

Compensation :

  • $1,000 -$1,500 per day + Bonus compensation
