Full-Time General Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Central Florida | September Start + Ongoing

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a central Florida facility that needs full-time general Orthopedic Surgery locum tenens coverage beginning in early September and ongoing through the end of 2025. The facility will be losing a provider and needs this coverage until they identify a new physician to join their team. Are you available?

Coverage need: 
* Seeking full-time 24 hour call coverage, Monday at 7AM - Monday at 7AM
* Will be required to do 3 days of clinic each week (while on call at the same time)
* The clinic days are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (OR days on Monday/Wednesday)
* Willing to work with two surgeons that can each do 2 weeks per month to piece need together

Details/requirements for opportunity #110154: 
- Active & unrestricted Florida medical license & DEA is required for this opportunity 
- Bread & butter general orthopedic surgery (no elective procedures)
- Group currently consists of 2 Orthopedic Surgeons & 1 Orthopedic NP, 1 general + 1 more specialized in extremities (will be covering in place of general)
- Call coverage is 7A - 7A, will be required to do a minimum of 3 clinic days per week 
- Clinic is located on the same campus as the hospital 
- Program is known for being a busy, full-featured orthopedic surgery program with high-tech robotic capabilities and excellence certifications
- Facility is not a designated trauma center (located directly next to a trauma facility), has Epic EMR & 300+ beds
- 20-25 patients per day in the clinic, approximately 4 procedures per week scheduled in office
- APP support in the clinic and they round also
