Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Indiana | February and April Dates

One of our partnering hospitals is seeking locums coverage for 24-hour call for a week in February and April, with the potential for ongoing dates throughout 2026. The Orthopedic Surgeon will be covering call at a rural facility, for trauma cases, falls and emergency joints only. The locums will have an average of 14 cases per week with 5 ORs available and designated block time. The client is seeking one candidate who can cover the following open shifts. Open Dates:
--February 5 7a - February 15 7a 
--April 3 7a - April 10 7a

Job Details:
--24-hour call coverage
--7a-7a, including weekends
--Cases: some trauma, FX, falls and emergency joints only. No elective cases
--Average volume: 14 cases per week

Facility Details:
--Location: Rural
--Not a designated trauma center
--5 ORs available and Block time for emergent cases
--Imaging on site: X-ray, CT, MRI
--Support staff: Designated surgery tech, NP's in clinic but not rounding, Hospitalist team on site
--Locums will be practicing independently

Candidate Requirements:
--Indiana License or active IMLC
--Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
